Because of the shortcomings of the sealing performance of the clay pot with this structure, it is not recommended to be used as a low-alcohol fermented wine. Generally used in hard liquor, such as Chinese liquor, brandy, whiskey, etc.
Because of the special nature of soil, traditional Chinese spirits believe that pottery pots made of this material have a certain catalytic effect, which can make the taste of the wine softer, but will not bring other flavors to the wine. At the same time, it also has a certain micro-oxygen effect。
Our pots are available with or without glaze. Unglazed clay pots have more micro-oxygen, but during storage, the wine will evaporate more. Glazed ones evaporate less and have less dissolved oxygen than wine. At the same time, our glazes are all natural materials, and there are no heavy metals in the pots and glazes.
